Sheila

Sheila moved to rural Aberdeenshire in July 1989 from her native South West Scotland.

Music and song have been present all her life, firstly in school choirs where she enjoyed success, especially in Burns Competitions held in Loreburn Hall in Dumfries, then Dumfries Folk Club as well as Gretna Choral. Work brought her family to the North East and Fyvie Folk Club has been a significant part of her life since it was formed. Much laughter, tears and good friendship have been shared and formed. She has penned a few songs but nothing compared to Bernie Allison. A little project is in the pipeline so watch this space, your never to old to learn something new!!
