BedlamHowe was formed in 1993 and following one or two line-up changes, now consists of the following original members
(from left to right in picture below) Mike Rodgers - vocals and occasional bass; Ramsay Tvedt - vocals,
guitar and mandolin; and,George Allan - vocals, mandolin and bodhran. They are the resident band at Fyvie Folk
Club and generally play all over Aberdeenshire, wherever their gigs take them. They have also performed at variuos charity functions.
The band took part in the first Russian/Scottish Folk Festival in January/February 1997 in Moscow and again at the second Festival in 1998
performing in Moscow and St. Petersburg (picture below taken at Sokolniki Park, Moscow 1998).
They sing and play a mixture of Scottish, English, Irish, American, traditional and contemporary music and are particularly well known
for their 3-part harmony sea shanties and on-stage banter.
